kids : those days : were quite 'memorable'...
most of you : cant imagine life or debugging without 'internet'..
but for me and my kinds : that was life...
man pages : lifeline ...
and they were free...bundled in with OS
this seems like a 'given' now...
but those were the days...when microsoft would charge you for docs
MSDN : as it was called..
a necessity : to program on windows ....
a subscription : on top of visual studio...
innovation : was controlled, code was 'entitlement'..of rich..
debugging X ( linux gui server)..
on 16mb ram pentium 3..
wont seem like much challenge 'now'...
but it was : it was yum and exciting ..
a new distro : a new shell...
a new veronica in itself : with its own philosophy and life / attitude...
it comes from creator of programs : their 0 : which lives in open source.
