the story of 'android phones'...
...i have a phone...
it is 'nice' - not really old - got used to it...
it gets 'updates' from manufacturer..
but the latest update - just screwed the battery life of the phone..
did the 'adb - logcat' - only to find out native processes - 'crashing'
did factory reset...
yet - from a phone which used to have 2 day battery for sparing use..
...is just now - 24 hours - with no use or 'sim'..
makes a case of device ownership..
the phone is not usable and seems - unsafe ..
yet - the manufacturer : has 0 'interest' in maintaining 3 years old phone.
in fact - he has incentive to kill the phone..
as it is over 'time'..
did what i always do - lineageOS for the rescue..
but - i had to do - an OEM unlock...
not google services would 'tell' on me..
and i ll get 2nd hand treatment for running a better OS.
it this logical or justified?
or slavery with apache of barely 'open source'?
and dese guys go around and sing songs of 'sustainability'
cant make a decent phone or architecture..
..yet make a page 3 about technology and 'solutions'..
thats how devil works. 😵💫
...and makes case for - 'mandroid' 😇
