my 'opinions' about java - are pretty known..
...my opinions : is about cultivating - skills : which serve u fur life.

i worked in different domains..
different langs/frameworks...
from vxworks to java
from embedded to satcom..
from 0 to google

it is about - making a 'home' with your trusted -tools..
consider it - your digital garage of sorts..

with jobs - dey make u switch ides..
for the complicated 'shape' or corporate legacy products..

in tech - it is all about - productivity..
u got to own ur tools - inside out..
and your languages - their use cases..
and which of dem - are jobs, which make 'home'.

for me - c, cpp - bash, python...make home

...and the rest : is just 'patterns' which i can learn on the fly..

it is the experiance..
after the 'language/framework' - it becomes about - algos..

coz 'algos' : is what powers the hole thing of engineering..

i feel high level languages - likey java..
abstract much of nice algos - from the user..

making it a fuity engineering 'limit' of mind..
ever dependent on a runtime and its 'tuning'..

to me - u never 'escaped' pointers..
...just delegated it to - tuning 'runtime'..

and java leaks - references..
which prove costly in production..

to me - it is sankrit of corporate languages and 'fantasy' of it..
too principled in 'control' and scale by 'easy' of it.

...i made a post of it...
to make it my own 'opinion'...

for me - u can always achieve the same purpose by 'java'..
but - it is about long term - precision...

we 'value' things differently - things change..tools evolve.

but java : as native of open source and apps..
..is not a future which i see.
