there is something 'brilliant' behind the tv series Pluribus..
..on face of it ... it seems likey a zombie drama with 'nice' twist..
but for me : it is existential and happening now..
ai : and people's planned dependence on it..
is bound to turn dem into a hive mind..
hive mind : whose mouths are different - grok, chatgpt or gemini..
just likey apple, microsoft and google of yesterdays and todays..
the question : is rather simple..
would u give up on your life and choices it offers..
for comfort of - company and 'nice'..
or the 'i' of identity : is still what is purpose of you?
this is the same question which i have tried to answer in religion of #..
but the same question : is not new : it is ancient..
and every generation finds/innovates its own cope with 'existential dread'..
is it being 'safe' or being - u?
further thoughts...
the best part : is the 'anger' and the guilt it causes in the protagonist..
...being 'angry' is not human/civil..?
isnt that what the society of page 3/religion has been trying to achieve : since -forever?
