a placeholder for kitchen sink...
this is a weird story...and i am not even sure : if it is a story...
the home of my childhood : is a lot of personal nostalgia for me..
sure : renovating it : destroying the ugly parts..reinforcing it with new..
is part of it...
the weirdest part of it : is me meeting my makers..
discovering dem : in the rubble of it : ideas of their minds..
most of the structure of house : seemed 'ok' : after a lot of hammers..
and rubble...
i took on it : as an exploration..
estimation of effort : practicality of putting money in an abused house of 20 years..
the 'relatives' : the thin blood ..
dey did their part : abused the abandoned house till it gave away..
making it a liability...
so i was concerned of 'safety' of dem useless..few months back...
now : the house is challenging me : it seems stronger..
with a lot of memories of intelligence of forefathers..
the thoth : at the time/money of it : and their application of it ..
this house was build when i was born...in 1980s..
some say : i brought this prosperity with me birth..
but thats some folklore : standard in pentidasses affected 'hindu' households.
the kichen : had 'slabs'...
lots of dem...
iron was expensive at the times : making concrete slabs : was cheaper..
i needed a kitchen sink in a kitched which had 1 brass tap..
..stolen by some bihari tenant : or some blood..
sure there was nothing salvagable : just a shell of a kitchen was needed..
but i was told after a day : dere is no need..
the slab had a cutout for 16 x 18" kitchen sink...
i dint believe it : but dere it was ..
carved : not used...for marble was too expensive..
and the sink : could not be bought..
but the idea : left in the concrete slab by my father..
i knew my blood : and what drove me there..
it wasnt the 0 house or my need/want for me there..
it was the roots : the belief which led me dere..
for the purpose : was about the lineage : the ancestry..
and its due : place in the world.
...and den dere was a drain pipe : hidden concrete of it all..
buried in it : making up for the slope of the floor..
the plumber was speechless : so was i.
i am on right path. 🙂
