I think most of u : got the blue/red symbolism of usa politics..
it appeals to different aspects of us..
blue : about enlightenment : long term view : grandiose of ideas
red : basic instincts ... nihilism, live the moment in all moments..
consume and enjoy, life is meaningless, parities, 7 sins stuff..
see : simplified...
and the result : is a non convergent 'system' by design..
which can never act in 'balance' but 'extremes'
