About Nato / America and rest of it...developed world..
i think there is a misconception...and some illusion of happy..
happiness - is relative : just the way human mind works.
I do use racial steretotypes : white brown etx..
It is the same everywhere : money creating 'stereotypes'.
My career mommy :
a white women who was the best leader i ever had pleasure to work with.
It wasnt the 'white-ness' of it at all.
I dont think i even noticed her looks
Most of the people i worked in my field assignments : white and different diversity : coz stuff like embedded, sat, telco required 'engineering'..
not the color of packet the brain comes in.
Here is my dicotomy : she was a leader.
It dint require any1 to greet her in morning..
There was a loud F-U written in that office
: when it was just wasteful..or even useless.
Humor : definitely was appreciated.
It was about 'skills', 'passion' and living a good life.
Skin, nation : nothing to do with it.
Yet the same org, and its other east coast branch : inverted.
Indians : did 'leadership' there.
insecurities of all kinds : exhibited in the 'size' of org.
huge : with always more needed.
Leadership was measuring how many peeps keep quiet while the india leader alfred spoke.
Long useless meetings : always to blame the 'west' branch.
tech : was never about diversity of skin, but diversity of mind.
Knowing this : i also know prez trampo : is not their president.
they suffer him : much more than we do here.
Engineering, with values : thats what i am after.
Labels may change : for both of these 'branches' were huggies.
1 loved : for it respected vinoda huggies 's indi alfred leadership of avg.
the other hated : for dem she was short, rude and a lot of things..
..physicality, labels : all to deny her respect.
they feared her and that looked like respect.
The pattern was clear
real leaders are rare.
It is even rare : when they reach the title which they deserve.
even when they do : there are always 99% lusers : who would have a 'word'.
I know why vinoda feels offended..
for him : i should ve been a tester boi senior writing test scripts for life.
he tried to decide my career.
Now i decide their avg legacy : including those hyenas he calls as engineering legends.
I learned a rare flavor of leadership : which tells me : all we do is inspire.
all 'this' : would seem like 'delusion' to all
but i ve seen that en-live : it was beautiful and functional
skin, color, nationality : all are copes of weak men..
for engineering : was always about hacking. happy.
further thoughts...
1st in lives are special..they define the 'bar'
my bar of leadership : was inspired and set quite high.
it dint require surnames/gender/nationality
: just the intent and impact of it.
