It is difficult to describe 'Nigam Sir' : my computer sc teacher..
he was tall polished and graceful...
ironically : similar to Divya mam : my english teacher.
It was his 'time' : i believe sir was perusing his MCA while he was teaching us..
his potential was unknown..
for his manners : too polished..
and we were crass lil crude kids of middle klass : who never took computers ..
seriously..
for most of non med science side : it meant either of few things..
. non mugging
. no gross stuff : dissections
. and some 'bet of future' -doc/engg
for me : it was logic. it vented logic with lil mugging.
Our unmarried bachelor perusing masters teacher sir..
in the middle of it all..
struggling with his freedom, age and mca with us as students..
he tried his best..
as college would have it..
with logic, not with obedience..
and that stuck : with 'easy' of students like it..
it was this assignment : sum of matrix ..
which he gave to us..
and he was happy : when i reduced it to 1 loop.
thats where this simple gestalt comes from..
a teacher from 1999.

further thoughts...
i think : he taught as he read for his mca..
in a way : i already had what btech would teach me..
and thats why btech was boring time waste : ask frens : i never studied for 3 years of it - honestly 😆 .
i wanted to 'time' it right : afterall he made computers for us..and all the middle klass compete which fueled years of it.
must ve been something : it was. in its own freedom of learning ways.
