if there were any really sustainability concerned auth out there..
it would have banned andoroid tvs..
and just ask google to sell : sticks : those hdmi-cec sticks...
u dont lose any functionality : at all..
the google remote : would work..
as will the tv remote : natively
the tv lives for 10+ years..
and the sticks : recycle for N years...
but that aint the grand design..
design is to own the tv...
no offline media..
just 'services'..
monthlies..
piling on the end user..
and sustainability : becomes a cloud slogan.
