there are limits of 'control' here..
no1 can guarantee
: a mail service wont be used for 'nefarious' purposes..
: a judge or govt : would be acting for 'nationalistic' purposes
: a user and his intents : change with 'time'
3 parties : who dont and cant trust each other..
and honestly : should not trust any1.
it is a technical problem..
any user : would want to know if his 'privacy' is being violated..
without any 'notice'...
and govt : are within their duties to provide a safe territory..
and judges : are part of that...
the problem : is pre-emptive decisions..
you use protonmail : must be using it for 'dicey' purposes..
protonmail = bad = u hiding bad things = u do bad things
=> prove it to thulla : that u aint doing bad things..
==> by opening the mailbox : and sharing the 'mailbox'
then the judge and thulla combo : decide if you are 'legal' or not.
this is seeking control : not solution.
a solution can be made : technically possible..
but it requires transparency and accountability from govt..
who do they 'hack/monitor' and for what purposes.
right now : its all 'hack/monitor' : u wont even know it..
and some 'unknown' thulla : judges you for it...
if he is able to make 'sense' out of it
: after few years of required muggary as iaps.
