the board : was poorly designed : by customer..
with very cheap usb : connecting the modems..
and the usb driver of this custom board : buggy...
fopen/close : would stop happening after some random time...
so a test execution : became debuggint the toolchain..
and customer greatness of shoving cheapest Rs100 usb muxers on a embedding board : saving cost of connectors by soldering them...
there were more : ..
test load gen for a telco company : required "AT commands"..
the part which i wanted to delegate to bash scripts..
but the senior 5 footiya : would 'impose' : using 'gammu'...
an oss phone management sw..with 'modem' support'..
so the job became
debugging the board
patching 'gammu' : coz the 5 footiya asked for it : no reason : just 'effort' of wasteful 'respect' in engineering
and finding ways around of kernel bug : coz no 'specialist' can be assigned for a paltry $292K : desi company 'fixed cost' project...
and there these baldies were : telling me : that this is the 'way'...
3 years : went into it : only to be downplayed
the paltry r&d company : showed me its try 'religion' : balls worship.
i did do all that : solved for all of those issues..
just to be 'told' : my 'attitude' has a problem..
coz i had to get in face with each of these baldies..
inkluding another 5 footiya customer baldie : who is a known perv : hangs camera right in head of his employees..
and seperate 'labor' entrances for 'employees'..
