the problem from a user/engineer perspective is much : deeper.
linux : allows all apps : no power control
android : does power control : has all the apps : ported to it...
android : does have linux apps : even distros.
the problem : is privacy and control of android apps : data and its thievery
there is a solution : it is quite intuitive.
further thoughts...
it seems easy : but would have to do some proto type before speaking on rom stuff...
clearly : my know is decades old 🤐
how hard it can be - to introduce a 2 stage bootup process?
1st half : the display stuff- surface flinger.. gets init()
boot linux image - debootstuff..map all the devices to linux kind..
.. u get all the goodness...
and boot 'google' stuff...if 1 chooses...?
it seems to solve for all - the devs/privacy oriented...and user mode : normal phone stuff too..
seems simple...but i really dont know : few years since done rom cooking and internals : even before.
