Faith, belief, God....these are heavy concepts...
...yet, they are essential for making sense of the world...
it shows itself in weird ways...
me being still 'subjectively sane' 🤨 ...
is kind of my personal experience with faith..
to be honest ... i never had any...
it is weird to say it...
i ll say in my younger years....i was rather arrogant..
and believed in 'luck' more than anything...
for visiting temple and finding it via boring religious teachings..
seemed to take time away from different activities..at different phases..
and the 'temples' : they no 'delight' to visit too..
the whole page 3 atmosphere is like a stark contrast..
well dressed peeps : paying respects to God...as their 'wins'..
and the 0s : the desolate 1 : waiting for the 'wins' of others..
I dint see any god in any of that..
just lazy and lucky..
i was on the 'lucky' side...
or thats what i thought..
And that 'belief' of luck...did carry me for a while..
some things are better left for 'discovery' of your own...
rather than borrowing them..
religion : makes u borrow and idea of god..
when I frankly believe, our beliefs makes God appear in different forms...
a belief in an individual : and he rises to occasion..
is the 'belief' : combined which may ve pleased god to help..
the old form of it ... tapasya...
it wasnt done at temple...
but temples were made around the place..
but belief and faith...are really undescibable feels..
randomness and god... seem quite related..
it is 'quantum' 😀
further thoughts...
kind of visited more Gurdwaras than Mandirs : clean, silence : no 1 talks to other...
and there is always water...and fish.
