Veronica, Veronica : who is the primest of them all?
My reason for this neo sikular society and kinda not liking it..
are rooted in a very common pattern : indi middle klass society veronicas
commonly called as yellow feminism
I wont get into why and what of it...
just the objective of it : fame, glamor , page 3 life
this is a story...
which is not in banglahole ...
but in every middle klass household...
this is special coz the heroine is 90s : lisa ray
low on confidence : gets courted by men with money, repute
gets a taste of 'respect' ....
she marries in trad same caste familia : repute of lawyers!
but she was too attractive..
and husband was too boring, too arranged marriage
a prime veronica : did the most 80s feminist thing ever...
moved out...
with a kid
a kid : whose innocence was unmistakable..
yet : her beauty made sure it became her worst enemy
an attractive lisa ray like mommy...
with an even attractive lisa ray ++ kid ...
this was the best of it...
in 40s mommy veronica : wasnt getting much attention
girl veronica : getting all kinds of it, getting swept by it...
mommy veronica : is insecure : she is all she has.
but teen veronica : elopes..
only to understand : this lawyer familia...was the same too...
marriage broke down over ethics...
and mommy veronica happy to heal the baby...
a comfort of broken trust...
women veronica starts living her mommy's instructions..
her take on modern hindu feministic movement..
a flowchart of 'power, respect, money' - control
woman veronca would court a suitor
date...would go to ...engagements..
and then...mommy veronica would point out 'flaws' and fears'..

It is a common story....but it varies..
