My Kiran - old wine of leadership..
the old guard...
the old wishes - catchphrases and assumed 'deals' 😏
No one would tell u failure...
the ego cant take it..
it is not the culture..
silence in failure ... is the culture...
but anyways...
it was 'perception'
yes : the page 3 perception : was the biggest problem
When peeps : normal engineers, like me see google, they thought 'innovation'..
funny young peeps ... doing whacky things but - solutions...
kewlness was googliness..
but 90s intellect : doesnt get the brand appeal...
just what it can play off it..
so googley baldies thought...
their bleh blah : of 1 sided internal training lectures..
and vomiting them in front of customers...
was cloud sales...
maybe it was - in that 0raklie bunghole of 'innovation'...
but here it was about : co : creation
eureka!
people thought they can do new with google...
logical reasons-
brand
values
engineer 1st
and kewl products...
new comer : with deep pockits
but u say it : yum...
just bleh blah..
and peeps would shift to googley cloudy...
they wont.
they cant.
cos trust is build
not borrowed
sales may happen, but 'crashes' make a dent
but u no care - deal was done..
now it was upto - partners...
thats why.
no 1 can tell u
but here i can...
coz baby : i want you to enjoi : "shanti" 😘
further thoughts...
target audience : were engineers.
yes the top honchos matter on feasibility : initial trust...
but pilots - they need to be flawless...
thats how normal businesses work...but bizzness is different no.. 😉
desis : we peeps : likey talkey when we likey the product - even a lan cable...
thats what we are...we likey product to salesman...more than others..
respect - is the underlying theme...
u gotta respect the customer : u are supposed to be smart, not him...
so the customer is always going to have a 'tied toungue' - coz its google engineer ( they dont know its hc1 peeps 😂 )
so get dem talking : is a sign...even friction is a sign..
whats not a sign - giving a lecture and assuming u won coz u baldie and googley
we peeps - not likey 'superiority' stuff...we just no say it...its 'indian'. 😀
