for any1 who has deployed java in 'production'...
whether in apps or cloud...
would know how this "convinience" of 'garbage collection'...
is really a 'costly imaginary fruity land of corp intellect'...
android apps...after its done, becomes a job of finding 'memory leaks'
..sure there are 'tools'...
but it is another step...
which takes more 'time' than a c/c++ crash under 'tests'...
crashes are better than leaks...
if 1 considers 'time' as 'currency'
and time is what defines money - our con-cur-ency.
further thoughts...
in cloud - the 'peaks of optimal ram' - limits of it...becomes a quest - calculate the min swap : perf loss/sla bleh...
it gets more work than 1 time job of being a good coder...
i do wish if i spent half as time on python than java and derivatives...would ve been more productive.
i really dont see any place for java in a microservices architecture unless there is an 'education' bias for any1...
microservices - the nature of them...bash python c++ or 'destructor' languages - seems logical as an engineer.
