On a serious note - tech has always democratized 'choices'

choices of food, clothes - tech scaled them for global ease and production
google did the same for intellect
ai is things which are too difficult to code manually...

no savior, just 'choices'

it is always about granularity...
if ai makes the choices - ai is god

but there is always a human at the 'processing' end of ai.

judges, police, education - religion..

ai wont and cant change the same

so there - i dont think ai would cause social change...
just social imbalance in terms of capitalistic equality...
and new hope/carrot for masses ..
and new messiahs - who may have a product / skill to sell...??

further thoughts...

the most notable social change incoming - fake a/v and misinformation and a/v pron cites - thats default of ai and hence humanity...
internet is a broad example of it...
metaverse, glasses and lack of work...

sorry - but default ai is not good for any1.
