one of the biggest 'misses' of google and other tech site - like stackflow etx...
is not really with 'ai' or threats from it..
it seems to be the 'freshness'/relevance or evolution of a question - as it ages
the old frameworks seem frustrating coz of this - coz google would prioritize it on 'approved' sites than increasing the search index..
all bleh blah aside...github is really the best tool for tech search now...
the solutions evolve in forks and comments..
it is not zombies of dead internet.
further thoughts...
stackflow used to sell on 'merit' of its original contributors..
the algo - itself is highly discouraging for new peeps to come in - get an upvote from 'instagram of ugly'...
hence search on github seems best - the questions and solutions - all there, and non 'rewarding' culture to it..
it is good - this non 'i accept' hack of tech search - engineers should try it...may save good time.
and boi - the worst effect of desis online is the 'essays' they write..
and sites like quora - they encourage 'essays' rather than logic
or brevity of words
they kinda abuse users time...
in a very indirect way
just use site:"github.com" as dork in google search...
seems simple and productive
