Financial freedom - what is it?

It seems like a buzzword - a question, most of us are bound to ask ourselves in current times.

I did grey some hair to quantify it as an "engineer" ( afraid of numbers. )

It seems confusing, even degrading to "think" about the subject.

I finally did, and it was not so scary at all.

It really helped - all this time pass blah blah... is a result of very lazy calculation. So spilling

It really helps asking yourself a very basic, yet important question -

what do you want?

• a "good" life
• that car?
• that house?
• that status?
• duties
• that girl/boy/crush?

all of the above?

or just money?? rest can follow?

believe me, it is not a simple question.

While you ponder over the choices....remember this "news"?

Nice man, doing "good" - rest his soul!

Some years back, there was a nice guy who wanted religion to "civilize" the Sentinelese people.

The news was interesting. It evoked another question -

"what is good"?

• "is good for me, good for others"?
• "is convenience == good"?
• .
• "freewill / freedom" - not knowing the word is really being free?

The Sentinelese tribe can qualify for a good #wef grant if they applied for it - 0 carbon footprint!!

• a living proof of humans surviving in world - without vax, aliens, earthquakes, sun, korea, russia etx

It is a spiral - if am a Sentinelese dude, who would rather sleep till he can, then food, duties - general life stuff - living in the moment and all

Surely they are not asking for toilet paper or 5g

they should be "happy" then?

I dont know, these are the kind of questions which "leaders" can first answer...and teach us.

The intermediate question - backtrack a step

"what is good" should come in contrast now.

Is perceived "good" really good? Sentinelese ppl are good/bad?

Perspective?

Mostly, we "learn" happiness from others - human nature.

You want and deserve security, and we need it too - bad ppl everywhere - duties.

The initial question - Financial freedom - what is it?

usually takes multiple tries and multiple answers - it is subjective

• Mr Tata wont have the same definition as me
• not will that unemployed hairless pedigree pup fired from boogle
• muskie, huskie, billy...all names "good" "rich"
• .
• my financial freedom includes owning a nano- so really i dont have any answers which may please you :)

after you have forgotten the question- ask the same question in different moods and times - takes the self bias out of it. Maybe we will know.

The initial "clickbait" article - should make sense now - till the time you know what you want, you can never be financially free - you wont be able to "quantify" that in terms of "money" to feel "confident".

Hint: We chase "feelings" despite it being a house, a car, a suv or that title.
