Our assumed lords are so "genius", that they have to dumb down every situation/problem to 2 extremes - none of them solves the equation, just creates an oscillation in "time".

Dog Haters Vs Lovers
They way these choices are ever presented to us - only in way that it either erodes the "belief" or strengthens it to the point of decimating the other - proverbial 0, respect, existence, worth.
If one takes a step back - and sees this from a planetary pattern - this experiment has been conducted many times - in forms of war, Intellectual Property and technology.
Every war, pandemic has threatened the existence of all people around the planet - but the same families remained "wealthy, intellectual" and powerful.

Anyways - what i really wanted to put into perspectives was the "need" and hence necessity of a "divide"
It allows creation of things - when there are none.
